Corporate Service Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, the Corporate Service Manager oversees all administrative, human resources, and office support functions for NVD Fresh Produce, providing a cohesive and efficient corporate service framework to support the company’s expansion and daily operations. This role is responsible for managing the corporate service team (administration, HR, office support) and ensuring all back-office functions align with the business’s strategic, compliance and sustainability goals.


Key Responsibilities


Human Resources Management
Recruit, onboard and train full-time/part-time staff across all departments (plantation, logistics, sales, office); manage employee contracts and payroll coordination.
Develop and implement workplace policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Australian workplace regulations; address employee relations issues.
Coordinate performance management processes and employee development initiatives for the growing team.

Corporate Service Manager
Administrative & Office Management
Oversee daily office operations, manage office supplies and facilities, and coordinate with the Handyman/ Maintenance team for office upkeep.
Streamline administrative workflows and implement scalable office systems to support the company’s expansion.
Manage corporate documentation, record-keeping and reporting for internal and regulatory compliance purposes.

Corporate Service Manager
Stakeholder & Administrative Liaison
Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders (industry bodies, government agencies, suppliers) for corporate service-related matters.
Support the Director and General Manager with executive administrative tasks, including meeting coordination and report preparation.
Coordinate with other department managers to align corporate services with operational needs (e.g., plantation staffing, logistics administration).

Corporate Service Manager

Qualification, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate services, office management or HR management, preferably in an agricultural or SME environment in Australia.
Sound knowledge of Australian workplace relations, employment laws and payroll administration requirements.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple administrative and HR priorities simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in office management software and HR tools; ability to implement scalable administrative systems for a growing business.
Understanding of agricultural industry operations is a desirable advantage; ability to adapt corporate services to the unique needs of a greenhouse farming business.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
